Summer 2011 charter capacity boost

15,000 extra passengers will fly from Robin Hood Airport next summer thanks to a boost in capacity by Thomson Airways, the charter airline for Thomson and First Choice holidays. It will put extra seats on sale on routes to Dalaman, Bodrum, Tunisia, Lanzarote, Malaga and Mahon, following strong forward sales this summer.
A spokesman for the airport, said: ‘We are delighted that Thomson Airways will grow capacity by almost 10% next year. This is a result of strong summer 2010 sales and will see Thomson Airways operate two 737-800’s and one 737-300 from Robin Hood for summer 2011.'
