Dublin flights offer easy links to New York and Boston

28.01.10

Robin Hood Airport is predicting 40% passenger growth this year after securing a deal to offer an easy link to New York and Boston. An agreement between Aer Lingus and Aer Arann will see daily flights from between Robin Hood and Dublin, offering passengers a connecting service to the two US cities.

Passengers flying from Robin Hood Airport to New York or Boston will change in Dublin, where they will go through US immigration so they can go straight from their plane into the city when the arrive in America. An airport spokesman said the combination of the Dublin flights and new flights due to arrive when easyJet open at the hub will lead to a growth in passenger numbers this year of around 40%, ending a period of falling numbers.
