Passenger numbers are soaring at Robin Hood Airport, according to figures released yesterday. The airport enjoyed a 15% rise in passenger traffic for the month of February compared with a year earlier.
Tenerife was the favourite February getaway destination, with Dublin, Prague, Alicante and Malaga the other routes making up the month's top 5. The news comes in the same week that the airport revealed passengers were up by 50% in 2006.
