Ryanair axe all flights for this winter

Ryanair has axed all of its flights from Robin Hood Airport for the winter. The budget airline, which withdrew its popular Dublin service earlier this year, has now 'suspended' its routes to Spain from the airport for the winter season.
The news comes less than two weeks after the budget airline announced it was setting up a new base at rival Leeds Bradford Airport. The Robin Hood routes are expected to return next summer, with the recession being blamed for the winter cancellations.
