Three new directors appointed

Robin Hood Airport has confirmed the appointment of Mike Morton as airport director, Nick Smillie as sales director and Paul Rodwell as cargo director.
Mr Morton is a qualified as a mining engineer who spent 21 years working in the mining industry, before moving to aviation 12 years ago, where he has gained experience working in ground handling, air cargo, airline and latterly the airport business. He was Coventry Airport's operations director before taking on his current role and will report to Hugh Lang, who recently became group airports director of Robin Hoods owner Peel.
Nick Smillie has worked in international sales and for city development company Creative Sheffield. He was senior business development manager for the Advanced Manufacturing Park before joining Peel.
Paul Rodwell has more than 30 years experience in international transport, having previously held senior positions in both shipping and airline companies. He joins from James Fisher & Sons, where he was a director of leading UK shipping company James Fisher Everard.
