Wizz Polish flights take off again
18.03.10
Robin Hood Airport served up a portion Polish pie when its first travellers from Wroclaw flew in to the airport, following the return of the popular two times weekly route this month ! Wizz Air, the largest budget airline in Central and Eastern Europe, reopened the service following the launch of its twelfth operating base in Wroclaw on March 12.
The first visitors to touch down were treated to delightful delicacies from Doncaster’s Polish restaurant Kuchnia Polska. Employees and airport police also tried out their language skills, having learnt the fundamentals of the Polish vocabulary and handed out Witamy (Welcome) booklets written in Polish with useful local info to help travellers.
The new route will run every Monday and Friday with flights available from £14.99 one way including taxes and charges.
