Drugs bust at Police and Customs operation

A man was arrested after a joint operation involving Doncaster Police, a police drugs search dog, HM Customs and Robin Hood Airport staff was carried out at the airport on July 28.
The day long operation checked arriving and departing passengers using the police drugs search dog. Anyone who was indicated to have been in contact with drugs was detained and searched, either by Police or by HM Customs.
A 39 year old man attempting to board a flight to Alicante was detained by Police after the dog indicated he had been in contact with drugs. A substantial amount of Class A drugs were found on his person. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
