World's largest plane flies in to Robin Hood Airport

The world’s largest plane, an Antonov AN225, is to fly into Robin Hood Airport on an operational cargo mission today. It will collect a generator urgently needed at a power station in Lahore, Pakistan.
Paul Rodwell, Cargo Director from Peel Airports, said: ‘The arrival of this magnificent aircraft reflects growing confidence for Robin Hood Airport as one of the UK's premier freighter airports. The AN225 is the largest cargo freighter in the world and we are thrilled that it will be coming to Yorkshire.'
