Fire damages cars at airport car park

Firefighters were called to Robin Hood Airport at around 20:00 last night after a parked Ford Focus car caught fire. The flames quickly spread to other vehicles and fire crews spent an hour putting out the blaze, according to local press reports.
The flames from the first car spread to a Corsa and Peugeot, causing severe damage to all three of the vehicles. An Astra and Landrover were also heat damaged, however nobody was hurt. The fire happened in Zone F of the airport’s car park, and the cause is not reported to be suspicious.
