£3.5m housing development near Robin Hood

A property developer has unveiled a multi-million pound plan for new homes near Robin Hood Airport. Regeneration specialist 'Urban i', part of South Yorkshire's biggest property developers, Lazarus Properties, is planning the £3.5m development in Finningley - less than a mile from the hub.
The first phase of apartments at Poplar Place - a development of 21 two-bedroom homes - is aimed at investors looking to benefit from the growth of the airport, and house buyers drawn by the regeneration. The apartments are due to be completed in July, with Urban i believing that its roll-out of the apartment-style homes will meet the growing need for properties near the hub.
Darryl Barker, director of Urban i, said:‘Robin Hood Airport is a real success, bringing jobs and economic benefits to Doncaster and South Yorkshire. Poplar Place is in a superb position for investors looking to be part of that success. The development is ideal for buyers looking to benefit from the increasing residential property demand created by the airport's growth. Poplar Place is also set to benefit from plans for a new rail station less than a mile away.'
