Football fans planning to go to next summer’s European Championships are being urged to plan ahead by Robin Hood Airport. Seats on flights to Poland and the Ukraine are expected to sell out quickly, after England continued their buildup with an impressive win over World and European Champions Spain yesterday.
Eastern European budget airline Wizz Air offers flights from Robin Hood to the Polish host cities of Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw. They offer fans the chance to fly to these cities during the tournament to watch games.
The tournament kicks off on June 8 and ends with the showpiece final held in Ukrainian capital Kiev on July 1. Supporters will find out where England will play when the draw for the tournament’s group stages is made on December 2 in Kiev.
