Flybe to double Jersey flights next summer

Robin Hood Airport has confirmed regional low cost airline Flybe is to double its summer service to Jersey in 2009. The route to the Channel Island will be increased following an extremely successful summer programme this year.
The service will begin on March 29 and run until October 22 with Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday flights. There will also be a fourth frequency on a Saturday between May 22 and September 26 to satisfy peak summer demand.
Nick Smillie, aviation director at Robin Hood d Airport, said: ‘Flybe’s Jersey service was extremely popular this year and we’re very pleased about their decision to expand it. It underlines the airport’s continued popularity with travellers.'
Flybe’s daily service to Belfast City continues through the winter period for businesses and city breaks.
