Airport opening finally happens

It was second time lucky for the official Royal opening of Robin Hood Airport yesterday. The Duke of York officially opened the airport more than a month after he had to postpone a previously planned visit because of fog and over two years after the first commercial flights took off from the airport.
The Prince opened the airport, met staff and took a tour the site yesterday morning. He had already used the airport as a customer, having landed there last September during a visit to South Yorkshire.
