New Kos flights take off
09.05.09
Flights from Robin Hood Airport to the Greek island of Kos take off for the first time today. Thomson sent its first flight to the island from Doncaster, which will operate throughout the summer, with the airport one of only two in the UK that will see the tour operator increase its services this summer.
Jodi Stow, marketing manager for Robin Hood Airport, said: ‘This new fantastic destination shows the strength of our operations. It reflects our ambitions to expand despite the current economic climate. Load factors were consistently high with Thomson flights last year, and our objective is to build on that and attract further growth from key players in the industry.’
